Artist's Statement
I have always been in awe of nature and continue to capture the
beauty and rhythms found in the landscape and natural forms of our world
through my photography.
I first began using paint and pastels on canvas and paper to connect with the natural world but sought the immediacy allowed by photography. My work reflects this painterly approach to seeing. I find I am strongly motivated by changing and dramatic light and finding unique views to express the emotional connection I feel to our world.

My photographs are made using small, medium and large format cameras, and involve traditional film based methods as well as digital capture.I personally print all of my own photographs and control all aesthetic decisions in the creation of my work. |
