ARTIST'S STATEMENT
"The afternoon light streaking through Sarah's long red hair, symbolizes to me a sense of innocent freedom and harmony with nature. The model, Sarah Streeter, who is seen here posing in my backyard, studied classical ballet. Her poses always seem to embody the beauty and gracefulness often apparent in dance. It is that spirit which I have tried to capture in this painting."
