ARTIST'S STATEMENT
"I learned to believe implicitly in working in the open air and studying nature first hand. Gripped by a passionate adoration of nature. I work tirelessly in study of the outdoors. With first signs of spring I would hurry out of town to admire amid the melting snows the beauty of reawakening life. I would see it as a momentous event.

The experience of French Plein-Air painters of the Barbizon school and Corot, also Russian artist Levitan, help me find my way in the boundless world of landscape."
